Crafts at the Library: Buttonmaker

Love crafts! So do I! This guide will provide information about the library's craft supplies. These supplies are available to use and borrow by current Hampshire students, staff, and faculty.

About the button maker

All requests to use the button maker must go through Natane Halasz nhalasz@hampshire.edu. Prior to borrowing the button maker, you must receive brief training.
The library lends a heavy-duty 2.25" button maker (the finished button is about the size of the top of a soda can).
The button is 2.25" but the graphic needs to be a little bit larger so it wraps around the front shell meaning your circle needs to actually be 2.625".
We have a paper cutter that cuts the design to the required size.
You can't use card stock or other heavy or layered paper. We recommend using regular copy paper.

Drop-In Button Making

In the F'24 semester, we'll have drop-in button making at the InfoBar, most Tuesdays 12pm-1pm.
