Seed Lending Library: Borrowing Seeds

How to Obtain Seeds from the Lending Library

Seed packets contain enough seeds to grow 2-3 plants.

The seeds that are available have come to you through donations and purchases, so supplies are limited. We ask that you limit the number of packets of seeds you take to 5 packets per semester.

There is no checkout process for seeds. We are interested to hear if, for whatever reason, you were unable to harvest any seeds from your plant (s). There are no fines associated with the seed library.

We would love to hear about your experiences with these seeds.

Happy growing!

We hope that you are successful in your seed saving endeavors and will return a portion of the seeds harvested back to the Seed Lending Library, while keeping a portion for yourself.

The seed saving aspect of the Seed Library is what ensures a thriving, regionally adapted and biologically diverse seed collection that is self-sustaining.
