|Setting up Live Broadcasting|
You have the opportunity to broadcast your footage live on a number of platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, etc.
The Library Media Labs use a streaming software called OBS that is open source and free to use. You can download it for yourself here: https://obsproject.com/
If you do not want to live stream to a particular channel or live streaming account, you can also live capture straight onto the archiving station's storage drive.
It is important to keep in mind that the settings are set to record at 4K by default and will create a large file, but you can change the settings of the live capture program to make it record in HD.
